How ya doing? Today was a very very hectic day and I needed a breather so right now I am taking a minute to just sit back and share with two products that I've picked up.
I took a trip to the E.L.F studio in Manhattan this weekend and oh my GOSH that place is fantastic! A bit small but still really cool. If you did not already know Eyes Lips Face also known as E.L,F is a makeup brand that sells overall extremely affordable yet good quality products.
I was on the hunt for these two products and though I wouldn't usually do a review so soon (i've only used them two days but who cares) but I can already tell that these two things will be a big part in my everyday routine.
I've heard SO many amazing amazing things about this product and just couldn't wait to get my hands on it. On one side there is a gel that you can use to fill in, define, and shape your brows. The right side has a powder to set and it comes with a double sided brush that is just fine for beginners but pros might want something more to their level. I love how sleek and compact this is and the fact that it comes with a mirror that you can see me in, haha! This kit is super easy to use and I feel like i've been filling in my bros for years! I was so excited to find that this product actually came in three shades and I went with a shade that I could easily pull off. The packaging says that this product could be used on the lips, eyes, and cheeks as a highlight. I've tried all three and have come to a verdict. On the eye,lips,and cheeks it gives just a subtle tint of a champagne brown color and when i say this thing shimmers it SHIMMERS! Not an odd Edward Cullen type of cast but a nice radiant shimmering glow. I like it a lot as a highlight but not too much and it has a fruit like citrus scent. Something like apricots. It's easy to blend and is a very multi-use product that everybody can find useful. The only con to this product is that it is not the most long-lasting. About midday I find that the tint is gone but I'm still left with that shimmer.
