How ya doing? So as many other awesome people of this world, I am addicted to Tumblr *hangs shame curtains while eatting pancakes*. Though on Tumblr you will find many odd and sometimes disturbing things I often find a lot of people posting a list of questions where they have their followers for example send them a number which corresponds to a question and they will then answer that question. It is basically just another way for their followers to get to know them better which is basically the idea of Tag Me Tuesday- for you all to get to know me and vice versa. A particular set of questions entitled the Greek Pantheon Asks caught my attention and I thought it would be fun to answer this set of questions. So let's get started :)
Aphrodite: What do you find attractive in a partner?
Physically I find myself looking at eyes and hair (light eyes, dark hair, dear God)and mentally it would be humor. I don't understand people who take things to seriously.
Apollo: Favorite Song?
Oh my, well I haven't heard all songs to know my favorite song of all time but as of today my favorite song is Blood On The Leaves by Kanye West ft.Tony Williams. (His VMA performance Sunday night- so impressed!)
Ares: If you had to fight someone in a duel, What would be your weapon of choice?
Definitely words. I do strongly believe that words can kill but if I needed to choose an actual weapon it would probably be some rocks and a slingshot( Like David and Galliath. )
Artemis: Favorite Animal?
MONKEYS! Oh my Gaul, I just think that monkeys and owls are the cutest things ever! So adorable...
Athena: Do you have any special talents?
Umm, *scratches chin* Well I've been told that I can sing and I've always been in just about all school productions. I guess that counts as a special talent *shrugs shoulders*
Demeter: Favorite Food?
Macaroni & Cheese. Funny thing, I feel the need to order Macaroni & Cheese in every restaurant I go to and compare it to other Macaroni's & Cheese. So far, nothing has beat my momma's.
Dionysis: Favorite Drink?
Vitamin Water. I just love it to death, especially the Dragonfruit flavor. So good...
Hades: If you could meet a person from history, Who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Phyllis Wheatley and get to hear from her what it was like to be the first African-American Female Published Author and just to hear about the struggle and how successful she felt after accomplishing something so life-changing like that.
Hephaestus: If you could learn a skill instantly, what would you choose?
Wow this is hard! Um, I'm trying to think of something actually useful. I've always wanted to be a dancer so dancing could be it. I don't know honestly. Or maybe to fly or be invisible. Powers count as skills right?
Hera: Do you want to get married and have children?
Of course! Though I pray for whoever decides to marry me because I am very silly and would probably laugh instead of cry at the alter.
Hermes: Where in the world would you most like to visit?
Definitely Europe. I plan on maybe taking a few gap months after high school to just tour Europe but that's three years away from now or well two technically.
Hestia: Where do you want to live?
I honestly can't picture myself living anywhere out of New York but I would love to live in LA.
Poseidon: If you were shipwrecked on a tropical island, what would you want to have with you?
A magic lamp and the ability to use my third wish on more wishes :)
Zeus: If you ruled the world, what would you change?
Just over all hate in general. A world where we can all just love and respect one another is a world worth living in.
